Fuchsia,Google's new OS

what is Fuchsia?

Fuchsia is a entirely new operating system developing by Google.

Fuchsia is a capability-based, real-time operating system (RTOS) being developed by Google. It was first discovered as a mysterious code post on GitHub in August 2016, without any official announcement.

What makes it special?

Unlike Android and Chrome OS, Fuchsia is not based on Linux—it uses a new, Google-developed microkernel called "Magenta."

With Fuchsia, Google would not only be dumping the Linux kernel, but also the GPL: the OS is licensed under a mix of BSD 3 clause, MIT, and Apache 2.0. Dumping Linux might come as a bit of a shock, but the Android ecosystem seems to have no desire to keep up with upstream Linux releases. Even the Google Pixel is still stuck on Linux Kernel 3.18, which was first released at the end of 2014.

What will be its impact?,Will it replace android?

There will be a huge impact in the mobile operating systems because Fuchsia is not based on Linux ,it has its on new Google-developed microkernel called "Magenta."which will make a huge difference and Apps are developed using Google’s Flutter SDK.which is used to create cross-platform code capable of running on multiple operating systems such as android and ios.

And if Fuchsia is success it will surely replace android someday for sure.because Google has its own new microkernel called Magenta and its not based on linux.Google have full controll over it.

what about the UI? how its gonna look?

well google has leaked its UI Armadillo ,its system UI.
