Razer's Project Linda
This year PC maker Razer provides their concept piece called project Linda. Razer's Project Linda is basically a smartphone with a laptop. Or more clearly say a smartphone which can be used to power up a Laptop. Its similar to 13 -inch laptop and identical to the Razer blade stealth which cost around 1449.99 dollars at Amazon.com. But project Linda is one of CES's big highlights which incorporates many innovative ideas. This model is powered by the the company's own Razer phone rather than traditional Intel-inside PC. Razer phone is an Android device with a Qualcomm snapdragon 835 CPU.

It could be the start of a new era in the case of laptops , where the line of separation between a smartphone and laptop is getting faded. Razer have been successful in integrating both phone and laptop. The key factor that differentiate project Linda from other laptops is that the laptop has a large empty dock where the touch pad would normally exist. This empty space can exactly fit in a Razer phone which was released recently with high-end 5.7 device that has got excellent feedback , mainly about the smooth 120 Hz screen. The phone screen can be used as a touchpad , or as a second screen ( or many be both at same time ). Project Linda improves the experience for gaming and productivity by bringing a larger screen and physical keyboard to Android environment.

The phone is inserted into where the mousepad is, and with the smartphone screen is used as mousepad , CPU , GPU, and provides a keyboard, USB and other ports. It gives a touch display resolution similar to smartphone , the front facing speakers are used for audio. This is mostly meant to be for gamers who want to play Android games on a bigger screen. The features of project Linda are the keyboard is RGB back lit using chiclet style keys and bright display. It is very light weight same as 13- inch laptop. The weight was mostly experienced when smartphone is installed in it.
Even though Razer says the concept is kept aside only to Razer phone specifically, it could be applied to other smartphones provided they are at least as long as to fit into touch pad slot. The date or rate of the product is not yet disclosed by Razer. Razer's Project Linda seems to be promising , The famous gaming merchandise company will surely has some thing to offer.
